I recently visited Uzbekistan; it was a wonderful experience to visit Samarkand and Tashkent in Uzbekistan. Although I visited in the summer (July), I still enjoyed the culture of Uzbekistan.

First Step: Invitation Letter

Uzbekistan visa in Pakistan can be obtained by having a letter of invitation from someone in Uzbekistan. In other words, they might not need this thing if they arrange the visa through a tour agent in Uzbekistan.

However, if one needs just the visa, then a simple invitation letter is enough. It is straightforward to obtain an invitation letter for an Uzbekistan visa in Pakistan for a small fee. I will help you in obtaining a Letter of Invitation (LOI) for an Uzbekistan visa in Pakistan.

I obtained the letter of Invitation myself from an agency in Uzbekistan who have appointed me their ambassador in Pakistan and now I can arrange the same invitation letter for a small fee ($55).

The invitation letter looks like this:

First of all, you have to apply for this invitation letter through this website by sending an email to “[email protected].” When I receive your request, I will forward it to the Uzbekistan agency to arrange the Letter of Invitation for you. It takes 7 to 10 working days and costs $55.

After you have the invitation letter in your hands, it’s effortless to obtain your passport’s sticker visa. You have to mention Uzbekistan’s embassy where you want to go for a visa on the invitation letter. In my case, I selected the Uzbek embassy in Tehran, Iran, because those days, I was there on a visit.

I went to the embassy and got a visa within 30 minutes. You can get the visa from the Islamabad embassy too. You have to pay a USD 55 visa fee at the embassy. So the total cost for an Uzbekistan visa will be $110. but it’s totally worth it.

Before going to the embassy, make sure to take a printout of the invitation letter and a printout of filled visa application form, which you can fill online on this website and then take a printout of it: http://evisa.mfa.uz/evisa_en/
